A lot of you may not know, and The Council is careful about how much they let us know....
There are groups out there who aren't just scared of us.
They want to find us, and exterminate us...
I won't let that happen.

It seems odd to me that the warmbloods haven’t been too inventive with their wanton murder of we zeds. Head-shots and fire; Explosions and guns. I mean, ever since I woke up I’ve been thinking far more laterally than I ever did in my former life, but I would still have assumed a little more creativity. We shouldn't complain, though, as it works for us so let’s let them keep at it!

As time went on I felt stronger.
Yet I was discovering strange things that did not make sense, like the bite mark on my side that seemed to have bled at some point but had stopped now.
My hearing seemed to be clearer in some ways and weaker in others, or perhaps I was just noticing some things that passed me by before, such as breathing or light foot steps which I wouldn’t have noticed before but now sounded clear as day.
I could smell flesh and blood.
I no longer had to breath.
If you’re out there, if you’re wandering alone know that we are with you. Your burden is one we all bear. We are not cursed, or evil. We are no plague or scourge on humanity. We are evolution. The next step beyond the barrier of death.
And we have found a way to not just survive, but thrive. Together we can achieve what alone we cannot. From the moment you awaken the council is here for you. We are your family, your lifeline, your hope.
I don't know if this will reach anyone, but we have to try. We're being hunted, exterminated, The warm bloods want every last one of us gone.
Our hope is in sticking together, in hiding and eventually in numbers we will prevail. They don't know we're awake yet, but we are, and there's more of us hidden out there, so if you're reading this, you're not alone.
